Hi guys Shane Kelly here. Parts and Service manager down here at New England Motorcycle Museum. I don't usually share all the bikes we get but I am this time just because of the obscurity of some of these beauties with some very cool other non jap bikes. Want to ride this coffin tank Maico real bad lol

1972 Carabela 125 Calienete super rare bird and I believe 1973 CZ250 but might be wrong on the year on this one.

Then we have a 71? Penton 125 Six Days turned into mx trim (again haven't confirmed the year)and a 1972 Tyran 125 MX. Never even heard of a Tyran before. Believe it's a UK made chassis with a Sachs motor. Very cool and just different. Love the proto snake pipe on it.

Here we have my 2 favorites of the bunch. 1974 Carabela Carrera 200 mx. Love it's aesthetics.
And wouldn't be a collection without a 1972 Maico MC400 with Coffin Tank God damn it's cool.

And here's a few jap bikes. Nothing to crazy from these. 76 KX125, 74 CR125 and a 77 RM250. Out of these 3 I really like the kx125 the best.

Curious ...are these bikes for display or for sale on consignment?

Not sure they do consignment? But they do buy and sell as well as own and display many. If your ever in the area, go see the place. What they have done with this old factory and are still doing is impressive.

All these bikes will go up for sale at some point but we are going to at least keep the Maico and one maybe 2 Carabela's. They all have a price. We are going to go through all of them once they're checked over and any parts replaced they will go up for sale one by one until we decide what to keep exactly.

Thanks for kind words. We just finished the bottom floor which will be a bar/restraunt and starting more work on different building Monday. Lots big things in the works. We do consignment as well and will also display bikes for ppl who just want to show of there prized possessions. That's bikes, gear, magazines or old technical data. Anything and everything to keep the history alive. Ask for Shane and I'll give a tour free of charge

The Maico is lovely, special place in my heart for those earlier radials.

Hahaha I remember seeing that somewhere as well. Maybe MXA? Kinda sounds like something Jody would say lol. I can't wait to try one of them in next few days as we get them running.

I'd have to say it's my favorite of the bunch. The tank is just perfection as is the motor.

Tank is a beaut, but pretty sure it's aftermarket. My buddy, a pro, bought one of those CZ 125's for kicks back in the day. I think they basically were the big bikes with a different top end. Heavy and so slow. But he could ride circles around me on it; God I was slow.
