What self respecting vintage guy doesn't know this is a RM250......NOT a RM125????? I want my t-shirt and hat! Ha Ha
I've been reading MXA since 1981. I'm a fan of the publication but two vintage mistakes can't go unrecognized.
(I happen to own both of these models!)

That 1982 RM250 was one of the best bikes ever (for it's time period)! It was virtually as light, great handling and powerful as a factory works bike. It easily won every magazine shootout by a large margin. It's only shortcoming were it's small 38mm forks (when others had 41mm and 43 mm forks) and it's single leading shoe front brake. Kawasaki had a disc up front and the RM's front brake was pathetic by comparison. Starting gates at professional races across the country were lined with RM250s! Just take a look at old photos from 1982 AMA Supercross and 250 National races.

I can let the RM slide, but geez, the 86 CR 250 was probably one of the top iconic / rockstar motocross bikes of all time!! You can't mess that one up!

Leave it to Motocross Fiction Magazine to screw up, the kids in the copy room are probably younger than the bikes in question. Kinda cool I own both of those bikes also!

Are they doing it on purpose now? Maybe they saw this post and decided to swap photos every week now.
YZ250 or YZ125? You decide.

That's pretty funny but obviously 1 person here doesn't have a sense of humor, lol.

Perhaps MXA's Google search function isn't working so they can't properly identify the bikes they are commenting on.
