I was fortunate to find a 77 RM125 with all it's original Moto-X Fox parts intact on the bike. Though the bike sat in a barn in misty southern Oregon for several decades it resto-up real nice and now resides in a private collection in PA. I missed that bike and in my travels secured enough cool Fox parts to build another and chose to do a big-bore RM. The bike has helped advertise the "new" Moto-X Fox gear at the preeminent Motosports dealership in Hillsboro Oregon. Has the typical Simons Forks, Thor swingarm and 17.5" FoxAirs, fresh motor on standard bore and New Mikuni with idle circuit which the 76 model didn't have. Topped off with a Simons ignition cover. A rare "Al Baker" pipe which has the built-in silencer allowing the elimination of a separate silencer and the weight. Fresh restored tank and paintwork by Brian Fedigan. New plasic including a NOS preston petty Tony D. Added a RM400 front hub with machined alloy rings to support the hub i.e. the factory RN bikes. Hope you like the work guys and that it brings great memories of those privateer performance companies of the 70's!

Lou, remember these? You would laugh if you knew how many trips these made around the country getting shortened 3/4 inch and re-anodized then on to their new home. Just one of many details, but the sole reason for Bob wanting this bike built. Thanks again!

Your RM's still looking good!!

Check out my nephews welds on the swing arm. Little fugger can weld.

Newmann, the shocks look terrific and that Maico is so tastefully finished. Your work is wonderful or should I say your nephew's? Just kiddin but yes his welds are sweet! Was that Bob's bike or constructed to be configured like his old ride?

Well, I was embarrassed as I had covered all your sweet handiwork up with a sticker.
