LAKE ELSINORE GP AND CALVMX COMING SOON

Just a reminder that the Lake Elsinore GP is starting next Friday and calvmx will be a week later at Milestone. Online sign up for the GP is closed but you can still sign up the morning of the race.

The GP will run a shortened course for the vintage bikes on Friday that will be pretty flat and wide and smooth and not rocky per se, so it is a great course for a beginner level rider or anyone that is feelin kinda lazy. They will run the full course for vintage and all other bikes on sat and sun. They graded the road to the water tower a month ago which is part of the long course so that section won't be rutted up.

They will also have practice sessions this year and all races will start in the streets of downtown.

Some parking will be right on the shore of the lake.

Looks like it will be around 75 degrees with no rain before the race.

Great place to take the kids as well if they are into dirt bikes.

They also rent boats and jet skis at the lake, and the world famous Ortega highway starts right there and it is only a 15 minute drive to the world famous candy store on Ortega. There are also some parks and easy hiking trails on the way, plus a small waterfall and lots of pine tress and killer views.

I will be at both races with my old YZ250 eatin everyone's dust.


PS - They also have a class for you closet 3 and 4 wheeler riders and even for you lazy ass "side by side" riders.
