I know more information about 90’s Hondas than Kawasaki.. so could anyone enlighten me on this part? How special is it? Thanks!

It was to add volume to the reservoir so the shock could run cooler. Looked cool not sure if it really helped or not but they sold a lot of them at under $50 got you that "works" look. Cool
