KX65 piston in cr60?

Yesterday while goofing around on craigslist we think we found my 83 CR60 that I raced as a kid. Bike still has the same #'s on it and everything. Of course I had to have it and just like that another damn project!!


Doing a little google searching it looks like some people have modified a kx65 piston to fit but it doesn't say what they did. Has anyone done this?

Might have to cut away the skirt for the reed valve. Used a kx piston in my yz 60.

dirt rider made a cr60 with a piston from a kx65 i would say you might have to bore the cylinder
