It just needs a complete dissambly, grease, lecture, and some TLC. Rear fender is jacked, TUF Racing still has OEM, so I'm going that route.
Where did you find this, I have been looking for an 89-90 YZ-125 for the past two years without luck? Sweet bike, congrats
Nice find Tuzzo! You plan on racing it? Always thought the '89-'90's were good looking with the longer radiator on the RH side.

A local guy by me wanted me to help him clean the Carb, and I said of he ever wants to sell it let me know, I prepared it for storage because I knew he wouldn't ride it, fogged the cylinder and carb with Stabil engine Fog. He never TOUCHED it. Sat in his garage on a stand under a sheet.

I might race it at our Local Vintage series, not sure yet. It would be fun though.
That 250 is SWEET! Sure thing, Shoot me a text and we can keep in touch, I'll probably have some questions. 989-598-6551
More coming. If anyone sees anything out of whack let me know. I'm not an expert with this, it's my first shot at bringing back a gem like this. Thanks in advance for any help you guys give.
Holy crap stock bars!
Good bike, first 125 I ever rode. Did not like the forks (found them very harsh for a 14 year old weighing 120 lbs) or the refusal to shift at times (usually 2nd to 3rd @ WOT). I foolishly shortened the stock silencer and it screwed up the powerband. Trying to remember what else.
Crazy to find one so mint after all these years!
I had a '89 125 and loved it. It did have issues shifting 2 to 3rd I believe. Race tech made a trick shifter that really helped. Motor wasn't blazing fast but fun.
