I just went on a road trip and picked up this rm 125 that was Josh's bike. Does anyone have any photos with him racing the 125 with a white frame?

It's pretty rough but should be a fun build!

Thats so sad. I hadn't know of the tragic passing of Josh. Im a little surprised we dont hear of more riders suffering heat stroke,Pros or regular guy chump racers. As racers we think we can power through anything and ignore what our body and mind is telling us. Clearly we cant. The older i get i see that when i dont listen to my gut in almost every situation that at some point I regret it.

So I talked to one of his close friends before he passed. I was questioning if someone else after powder coated the frame white. I guess this bike was called "white lightning" and supposedly won around 10 amateur championships. Here is the only photo I have found of it. It's a screen shot from the movie the beginning at mammoth 2004

Great find! those 02-03 N-Style Suzuki Amateur team graphics are in my personal top 5 for best looking bikes of all time....
Pretty sure #31 in the above pic is Michael Lapaglia, If i remember right, Lichtle, Lapaglia, Millsaps and I think Matt Goerke were all on the Suzuki team around the time they ran those graphics. Hopefully that helps your search for more pics....

Can't wait to see it when it's all cleaned up!

They are one of my favorite kits also. Your right I think sani was another one that rode for them. Something will eventually pop up Iam sure. It will be a while before its rebuilt, I have been trying to get ahold of Varner for 5 days with no luck.

I am gonna look into the graphic files next time I pass by N-Style and have a minute. Been a while since I dug that deep over there but they might be around still. Most of the stuff before 04 is tough to find though. Might be able to do up a legit reprint seat cover for ya.

I finally started disassembling the bike. Pretty much everything needs to be rebuilt, or bought new. The bike ran but had no compression and pissed oil everywhere. I am going to send the motor back to pr2 and have them rebuild the whole thing. I'll post more progress photos later

I just got the motor back from pr2 today. They still had all of the old paper work, dyno sheets, receipts from when the originally built it. This motor is a long rod, big bore stroker motor! Wiseco had to make two custom Pistons for it. This is the first time I have had a company that actually wanted to help me out with something. Iam slowly collecting more parts and hope to have it done in the next few months.

I've collected most of the stuff I needed to get the bike back together. The frame will be done being powder coated tomorrow and all new bearings will be installed. The suspension ships back tomorrow from independent race shop, then I can start piecing it together. I'll post a few more photos tomorrow.
