One of these has come up for sale locally at a decent price.

But I'm looking for information about them. How are they to live with? Are they reliable? Spares available?

Reliable as a claw hammer, but spares can be elusive and expensive. Depending on what it is naturally....body work can be hard to find as well.

From what I can see there's alot of them driving around in Germany, which makes it a biiit easier in the spares department I think.

If that is the case, go for it. Still spendy, but I love those bikes. My last one was a 2000 model. Old skool 4 stroke.
