Anyone know the color changes? From 91-99 Honda used the florescent red except for the rear fender in 97 was white. But in 2000-2001 I thought they went to a new style red. The OEM site shows the 2000 and 2001 as having different part numbers for the fenders. They didn’t change the color in 2000 and again in 2001 did they?

Yeah it was the nuclear red color. But in 2000 Honda had changed the color which should have carried through 2001(last year of the CR500). The OEM part numbers are different though for 2000 and 2001 so not sure if it’s for fitment or color.

Definitely not fitment, shroud’s are the same forever. Be either the pigment change, or the graphics. By memory, the last years were a little deeper red.

Yeah I was referring to the rear fender. The 2000 and 2001 have different part numbers for some reason.
