I got a set off of eBay for my 97 rm250 but they only come in black. I cut the front number plate legs off that covered the fork upper tubes and the boots looked awesome.

Wouldn't the DRZ400 ones work? Basically the same fork externally

The plan is to try them on a CR250 -80 with 480 engine.
Do you still run them on the KX?

The bigger DRZ's still have the 49s with black boots from what I can tell; and they have sold a million of those since they came out in 01 or so.

I thought the Drz had the same 45mm fork as Rmx, but you are right they have 49mm open cartridge.
Thanks

I do. Looking forward to riding with them since I've had them rebuilt. A lot of parts were worn out and I expect them to work much better now. Got different springs also.. are you fabricating some kind of adapter for a brake lug or are you running a disc?

I use a Husky wheel, so i just fab a torque arm.
Dont think disk looks right on a twinshock, but its heavy and a bigbore, so maby i change my mind about it..
Its illegal in twinshock class anyway, so i can build any way i want
