It certainly captures the excitement Magoo brought to the track. This looks like it could be Sears Point TransAMA, the day Nor Cal Maico Boys Shultz & Magoo cleaned up both international and support classes, I'm a witness, but I remember the coastal haze hung most of that day, but maybe it did clear 2nd motos? Could have been my own Humboldt hazed recollection limitations I suppose.

Thanks for posting it up.
79, year after the 78 Shu and Magoo Sears Norcal sweep (a day BobbyM went 6/dnf on his own Maico in 250 support).

No matter when it was, it's simply another example of Superior NorCal Moto DNA. 🤔

That Nov 79 pic is interesting.

The works Maicos were running the 1980 frames with 42mm forks but the 78-79 tanks.

Look at the frame tubes running down from the upper shock mount and you can see that ain't a Magnum frame.

I have some pics from the USGP that year at Unadilla and you can see the same detail on the German works bikes.

Magoo was great. If you're a fan and don't have the DVD, you need to track one down.

Those goggles with the Scott face shield would make an cool COVID19 mask. I had some one piece MXL copy of it but its long gone.
You are right. That would be cool
