I had an absolute blast!! I thought I'd get the most for my $ and I'd race the 30 minute Ironman class on my '74 MX360. I signed up as Vintage Sportsman 250 Expert. I was race #9, so I had some time to sit and watch Scott Burnworth smoke the competition. My Pops showed up to watch me race and he somehow thought I was actually race #10 and not feeling the need to second guess him, I believed him!! Well I watch race #9 leave the gate and within a few laps we realized that it was my race!! In a panic I took off and jumped in between 1st place and 2nd place riders. I was never passed buy the guy in 2nd, nor did I catch the guy in 1st. I wouldn't say I got 2nd because technically I was down a few laps but overall it was still a great time and it was good for laughs!! I can't wait to get back and race with Cal-Vmx, everyone I met was friendly and I had a bitchin' time!!

Here's the video of me taking off for my moto in an all out panic!! HAHA

You were making pretty good time for only 4" of travel. I really like the leathers, too.

You are going fast enough that you might want to reconsider wearing that 30 year old Bell Moto. Also, check your frame welds, etc. after every race. Those bikes weren't designed to jump.

Looks like someone might be getting "addicted". Proceed with caution, as I hear the average vintage nut has 21 bikes.Smile

I'm on the wrong side of the country. Sad
Looks like tons of fun... but the guy racing the 71' TM400 must have some big cojones. Shocked
