Saw this on MXA's website today. Anyone else have these back in the day? I had a pair that were my practice pants (had to save those Hallman leathers for race day, of course!)
Last time I saw them, back in about 1976, a buddy came up to me at a hare scrambles race in East Palestine, Ohio and said 'you got any extra pants. I left mine at home' So I lent him my practice pants. After the race, he comes up to me and says 'I can give you your pants back, but I had too much coffee and I pissed in them. I can wash them first' I said 'Keep 'em!'

That visor is almost as long as the PP front fender!

As I got faster I graduated to the short Roger D peak.

Yeah ive got more than a few laps at SMR since then.
Ran the 2 hare scrambles George had, won the 100 class 4 hour team race doing it solo.
And beat Jack Penton in the 125 class in the other.
I remember Jack saying to me “ now you can say you beat a Penton”...odd.
