Who have you guys had good luck with? I have been talking to Millennium about a Nikasil job, but my YZ 250 is on a 72mm bore. To go back to stock I would have to re-sleeve then Nikasil. DAMN expensive.

I took a nice cylinder (no bent/broken fins) and a new sleeve kit and piston to a local guy quite a few years back and he ruined all of it. Buggered all the ports up matching them. Just something to keep in mind...

Sleeving it would get you back to a standard bore. No real need for the nikasil at that point. Could always do that later if you desired.

Why not nikasil the 72mm bore? I believe the nikasil would put you back into spec for a 72mm piston.

I just had a 1980 yz250g cylinder re-sleeved by Kustom Kraft out in Henderson ,Nv. In fact, I had called Millennium to do it and they recommended I send it to KK . Apparently they don't do the vintage non-nikasil re-sleeves. But ,Kustom Kraft (Mark?) did a great job, very quick turnaround and I think the entire tab was around $ 475 including shipping and a new wiseco or wossner piston . 5 stars, lol
