Coolest 80's-90's helmet paint jobs

Bob Hannah was one of the first with a "custom" helmet with his lightning bolts in the 1970's. Here's 3 from the late 70's and early 80's.

Modern take on a Mike Kiedrowski helmet from the 90's. Exposed carbon is matte. The rest is gloss. Painted for me by Hellion who posts here.

Here's one that I'm raffling off in the moto section for James Marshall.

I think I'm going to try my hand at painting and try to do a Bob Hannah enspired design with my white shoei. It will be a mixture of this and the design on that carbon bell moto 9 below.

I don't have much luck posting pictures on here. Can someone post a pic of my favorite ? the Jody Weisel Gene Simmons helmet.

What kind of paint is used for helmets?
Is it ordinary auto products?
