Some of the old timers know I've been nursing a Cr250 project in fits and starts. Committed this year to finish it (so I can start a different project
), and finally and getting there. Have to sort rear brake anchor, seat, fit the front fender, and graphics. And half dozen things I can't remember now.
Here's the starting point ... brought it home like this after I found it in want ads. Want ads...that's a while ago

Nice work.
The Shop
You know my number if you need anything else my friend!
I am redoing my 1979. I raced it for a while and it needs gone back through as it is now just a garage queen. I finally got my Fox arm for it to put on when I get to it.
Here it is when I first built it. I have the proper Fox spring shocks on it now.
Need some tweaking on the PDE roller lower as the original Fox arm with the 17.75s drops down too far to leave enough room for chain, but it is beautiful and I want to keep it on the bike
Ready to buy another Fox arm anytime anyone is scratching an itch to sell, mines got some tattered bits. Pretty scarce, even scarcer than that gold rear sun rim, which is a unique single model version unlike a lot of the Sun rims that cross models and OEMs. I owe Kenny one still I think, but my memory is going.
Thanks all, having fun with this one again.
