We had to pull start the Penton that my dad raced. My brother and I had Japanese bikes that started.

Many times, moto and enduro/ hs. Bikes don't like to start in sub freezing conditions no mater the make.lol

Used to start my CR250 at home, then keep it running on the trailer driving to the pit.

Neighbor with a 360 Bultaco:
Wouldn’t start after rebuild, towed it down the street, it started all right, throttle was hung wide open, big f’n crash.

Oh shit!
Mine was. 74 250 Pursang.
What made it even more fun was the Clutch on those bikes reseted in 90 wt gear lube and had to get really warm before they worked
So you had to get in neutral real quick
