It's definitely the queen of the garage. However, it's currently my only ride. The boss says I can get another one when I build shelves for the garage and organize the chaos in there. With that being said, i do get a weekly dose blasting around the dry, clean pavement of my subdivision. I hope my neighbors enjoy the sweet sounds of two strokes as much as I do.

Looks great, where did you get the seat cover, I got the cheap one from ebay and it's ok but not that great. I like the wheels also, what did it run for that set up? Looks like you updated the side case also. Did you have the backgrounds made or can you buy them ?

What a beauty!! I've always though the '86-'87's are the prettiest CR's ever!

I got the seat cover off eBay. I'm not a huge fan of it. The original has one small tear I plan on repairing and reinstalling it. I had the rims custom drilled by SM Pro out of the UK. They ran me about $300, including shipping. The spokes are from CC Products, also from the UK. You can find the spokes at www.oro2u.com. The hubs are repainted stockers. I got the backgrounds from eBay.uk.

Thanks, Stevie. You may have noticed some of your handiwork. All washers, subframe bolts and seat holy are titanium Phil Denton!

Excellent job, my only gripe would be the blue grips. Remember to put the seat bolts back in when you go ride next.

Thanks JT. I have yet to install your HRC replica chain guide plate. You may recall shipping me it while you were in San Diego for the SX. As for the seat... Argh. Since, the side plates were the only non-NOS plastics, I had to drill the holes. I'm having a difficult time lining up the plastics and seat to the subframe bolt holes. I'm going to hold off on that nightmare until I repair the OEM seat cover.

Honda"s was way ahead of their time with these bikes....looks awesome, great work! ......decision time.... ride it or stare at it? I like to ride them when done, get them dialed in, work out the jetting ect. I tell my family, it"s just like building a model, only I can ride it when it"s done!

Thanks! I'll mostly stare at it. its does get get ridden now, because I'm still in that dial in phase. When I rebuilt the carb, I jetted it back to factory specs. I not really sure what I was thinking when I did that. Anyway, she first started really rich; very boggy at less than 1/4 throttle and no idle. I swaped the main 175 jet for a 170 and got her a little leaner and idling. I'm going to move the clip up the needle a notch tonight. Im hoping that'll get me right where I need to be. Smile .
