Been searching for one of these for quite a while. I could never find one (finished) when I was in a better financial position.

Now, the only thing I could find was this "Hot Mess". The pictures present a better image than reality!

The previous owner said he rode it, stopped for a bit and he couldn't get it to start again. They were able to get it running briefly by pulling it behind a car.

Maybe one of these might be the reason...

Nice air filter Bro! SMH!!

Now, here is the power valve arm... Non-125K owners may not see the issue... There is a dowl/pin missing to anchor the rotation...

OK, you should get the picture by now... I've already ordered more parts than I paid for the bike!

This will be a racer bike, so it won't be as pristine as some I've seen on here.

It has it's issues but it's not a bad start depending on the acquisition cost,Will be a fun project and you will end up with a nice race bike.

At least your plastics are in decent shape, my '83 needs damn near every piece of plastic.
Are you going to modify it as per the Yamaha Wrench Report issued for it?

Pics make it look better than it is! LOL... So, what did I do? I went and bought another one! In one pic, you see the original one all apart on top of my cabinets! LOL Again! the pics make it look better than in person, but the "new" one is a solid base... Also, the YZ100 I bought from a Vital member...

Oh, I'll do the Yamaha Wrench Reports mods too... The same as when I had mine back in the day...
