Alluminum swingarm for the 83 Honda CR250R

Does anyone know of anyone other than Karl Landrus out there making an alloy swingarm for the 83 CR250? Karl does great work (I have one of his swing arms), but he is really busy. i thought there was a guy in Belgium or the Netherlands capable of doing this, but I don't have his information. 83? They had them stock. are you looking for something with a factory look to it or just need a replacement?

Actually the stocker is steel (see below). I'm just looking for something in square or box aluminum style (lighter, plus i want to shave like 7mm off the lower mount). Mike

The 83 swingarm I have is aluminum. It will be coming off my 81 when I put it back to stock.

Let me untangle this mess that I started. First in my defense, if there is such a thing, I'm in school at the moment and have my head in books (math) all day and lsyr into the evenings (I have exams on Friday so my focus is a bit off at the moment), so you'll have to excuse me, what I'm talking about is an aluminum subframe…not swing arm (stock is aluminum…my apologies for the confusion). Other than Karl Landrus' work, and the one on the works bike back in the day, I have never seen an aftermarket alloy subframe for this bike. Mike

You couldn't pry any factory parts out of Hubbard's cold dead hands if you tried. LOL.

I'm just jealous really. Smile

Ah yes a sub frame. Don't know any fabricators that make those for a old Honda.
