1979 RM125 N Need kick starter idle gear

In 1981 I purchased a 1979 RM125 that I road for many years. I then left it at my parents garage for 25 years, I would ride it in there backyard every couple of years. When my kids got old enough to ride it I went and picked it up.
This bike always ran great.
I now need a kick starter idle gear. If any one can tell me were to get one I would be very happy.

Part # 26240-40201 is what you need and can be found new on eBay or ordered at a Suzuki dealer.

This gear fits multiple years of the RM100, RM125 and PE175. Search by part number and it’ll come up. You can also double check with Suzuki for confirmation.

Suzuki is out of stock of #26240-40201 but Hudson Valley Cycle Center in Kingston NY shows one in stock on our dealer locator. Their number is 845-340-1100.

Oops...I apologize for the wrong part #. The idle gear part # you listed fits multiple bikes as well though.



Try an eBay search for transmission gears for those bikes and see what comes up. You might just find what you need and get all the other gears in the tranny at the same time.
