Got the swingarm decal switchedSmile Used a heat gun to get it to stick again and it seems solid. I will probably ride it a little then sell it. I have too many bikes to ride! KX450, KX125, KDX200, ZX-10, this Honda and I just picked up another CR250 basket case. I have a problem!!

I should get the other seat back on Monday or Tuesday (I took it somewhere to get done since I always seem to get a *($&*(#$ wrinkle in them when I do them myself). Yanked off the clutch cover to be powder coated too then I "think" I am done! I can't believe how much compression the thing has with the new bottom and top end. It is a beast to kick over but runs incredible.

I picked up some retro gear off Craigslist to go with the bike. Got the EvoMX seat cover on. The color definitely matches the plastics better. So the old girl is all done (except the clutch cover. That will be another day). I will post some pics this week.

Unfortunately I had to return it to the crooked seller as part of eBay refunding me for the sale.

Wow! Now THAT is a Cinderella story right there. Looks great!
Here is a quick pic of the EVO-MX seat cover. Much brighter than the Thailand one. Sorry for the $hitty pic

Looking at that old picture of your 83 CR is like watching beheading. The shock of is just as bad seeing it the10th time as the first time.

Been making lots of headway on this. I ran into a stumbling block buying another motor off eBay. The guy shipped me a CR125 motor instead then refuses to admit what he sent is not what he had pictured. Slight delay in my progress with the motor while the calipers, steering stem, etc. are getting blasted.

Very frustrating! I have been lucky not to get scammed off eBay for almost 15 years. I guess I was due.

These are just a few of the examples of how ridiculous it is, but not giving up on the old girl. Just finished sanding the tank down and hope to get some momentum this week
What year is the 125 motor? I may be interested in it

Looks like a solid roller to start with. I am happy with how mine turned out. I have already moved on to work on a 95 (just bringing it back to life, not a full blown restore).

I returned the 125 motor to the scammer as part of the eBay dispute, so I do not have it any longer
