It started out as loose parts and non running engine, but im happy to say that its all back together and running awesome now. Im more of a 90's man, but i really like this bike. Its a great all round machine.....especially with the few nice mods ive done.

Now that is a bike I'd love to ride! I was on Hondas those years and it seemed like those YZs were better on some tracks. Especially those with full ohlins suspension.

Steph500 the forks are original 89's......im just using the 91 guards as i couldn't stand getting them damaged. ....the purists won't like it but its hard to find a pair of good forks these days.

That looks superb, well done.
Remember the Chesterfield Yams of this time at a few GPs I visited back in the day, was Donny Schmidt, Bob Moore and Alex Puzar I think on the Chesterfield Yams and often at the starts all 3 of them would be right at the sharp end, they seemed damn rapid off the gate all 3 of those bikes/ riders.
