Ok so recently picked up a real nice 86 CR that I plan on riding then doing a full resto on it in the winter..
My questions are... is the pj23a the correct number for the 86? My 87 is a pj26.. both are 38mm PJs just making sure the carb is the right one. (# the correct year)
Been working on my jetting to get this thing track worthy, needle was worn got a new one "1368"
The needle jet/ emulsion tube questionable.. looks ok but these things wear.. cannot find a replacement any where online. It's not supposed to be replaceable from what I can tell but could be replaced.
Should I just shelve the carb and get a modern pwk? Hoped to have it all period correct and original. And I would prefer it that way.
