I just picked up a super low hour '86 cr125. Besides the wrong silencer and a hand full of incorrect plastic fasteners the bike is 100% original. It is a survivor. I will be posting pictures soon once , I go over the bike making sure everything is fucntioning and keeping fingers crossed the water pump rot isn't too bad.lol!
The bike currently has unknown spark arrestor which looks similar to and early 80s cr250. The bike is way to loud with it ,not ring dingy like my '87
I know the Sankei stinger silencer was factory, I have been keeping an eye online but haven't found one yet. What is a suitable replacement? I noticed fmf and pro circuit has 1987 as the cut off for cr125.
. Leaving dg. I don't like the the look of the dg silencer. So what options are out there?
I did see a 86/87? rm125 silencer that was a stinger and fairly close to 86cr125?
