Looking for a replacement carb for an '81 RM125X. Needs to have the overflow on the float bowl facing towards the cylinder. All of the replacement carburetors have the overflow pointing towards the airbox and it hits the engine cases. Tried resurrection of the original OEM mikuni 32mm VM round slide, all new brass, floats, etc... still blubbers and runs like crap. Anyone ever tried to modify the float bowl, moving the overflow tube? Thanks.

I ran a lectron on my 81 RM back in the day. I had no idea what I was doing. It was previously on a YZ,I just stuck it on and it ran great. And it cleared the cases

Thanks for the replies.... I was hoping to find a carb with the correct overflow vent, or none at all. I'm not going to race the bike ( too big for a 125), probably sell it as soon as I get the carb situation sorted.
