80/81 YZ question

Hello. I have a 1980 yz 125 that is going to be a rider/racer. I am 95% ready to go with it, but one of the last things I would like to do is upgrade the footpegs to something much wider. Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a universal size I need to get and tweak to fit, or is there a brand that actually fits right out of the box? I believe the pegs will cross fit the 81 chassis, but are there any more years that will fit? Thanks in advance for the help!
