I think most of the 74-81 mini's should be worth more than the 100-500 cc bikes
Not many survived there short life due to kids, riding and working on the bikes
1979 Yamaha YZ80 - great bike, they look cool, and the bikes are fast
77-80 RM80 are also very cool
Look at the Honda mini trail prices !
and pretty much all the parts are in reproduction

Agreed it's hard to find good 80's I have a bit of an '82 YZ80 collection and couldn't tell you what I have in them in the last 15 years.
The one in the best condition out of the 10 or 12 I bought I paid $1600 for but still it needed tons of parts to restore. For example stock plastic is around $200 per piece (5 pcs $1000) And you may never find them as I have been looking for a white Euro or Cdn Model plastic number plates and rear fender for over 15 years now and nada.
Below are 2 of them Currently there is a DG racer being built (Talk about hard parts to find!!) now and another stocker.
I had a DG Swingarm and head for a ’79-’80 that I sold for $800 last year just because I couldn’t find a suitable bike to build.

Very cool! Those look very similar to the old Myerscough pipe for YZ80B-D.
I'm not sure who made the pipes for Ted Moorewood---maybe T&M?
