Finally got my ‘73 CR250 home, along with the MR50! I am officially out of room in the garage. Maybe when I finish the ‘79 CR250 I may look for a 78 RM250 C2 and put the aluminum tank on it or an RM370. Need to find a stock throttle for the ‘73 and eventually fully restore it. So, as I sit now I have a ‘74 MR50, ‘78 XR75, ‘80 CR125, ‘73 CR250, ‘79 CR250, ‘14 BMW R1200RT, ‘16 BMW R1200 GSA. Pretty Happy!
The Shop
Yes it was from my friend's collection that passed away. The bike was built by someone else and raced a few times before he bought it. It had an aftermarket pipe, newer works performance shocks ( I believe that is the brand) that I still have , and a '74 painted tank. when my friend bought it he wanted it to be original like he had new. I found him the stock shocks, pipe and silencer, and a tank. Overall it is in really nice shape and I will freshen it up some in the near future. Have to find a stock throttle and cable for it. He never put gas in it but I really want to hear it run.
You need an original off/on kill switch for that??

They have been in the Honda business since 1964 or so and in the same location.
No telling what they have in the parts room. God knows I broke enough CR 125/250 stuff between 1973-77 that they may have ordered it in as backup.
