40+ 125cc PRO/amateur CLASS Anyone?...

Hi guys, just joined to letcha know that a few of us So.Cal. 'Wrecking Crew' member's who used to race MOTOCROSS(before it became this uninspiring (see;lazy) form of TT racing the 4 strokes have turned it into) are putting together a(and we KNOW that there are more than a few of you who right about now are becoming tired of the 'insomnia curing' 4 strokes and miss the CHALLENGE, SOUNDS AND FEELING of 2 strokes) a 'RETRO' 40+ 125cc 2 stroke ONLY amateur/exp class in the mornings at upcoming CRC GRAN PRIX'S then eventually add a 'RETRO' 40+ 250cc 2 stroke ONLY amateur/exp ONLY class at every Gran Prix.
Sure there's a place for the 'couches that do everything for ya, but WE miss the challenge of MOTOCROSS, and are going motocross racing again, Anyone else in?..

I'm in ... I have wanted to get a bunch of us together for an Indian Dunes reunion and the 125 class was the most competitive class on a regular basis back in the early 80's! It would be great to see guys like Myerscough O'mara Moore Whiting Kline and Heisser come out to play but thats probably a pipe dream! Lets just get as many guys as we can! Dust off your old 125 or get one in the paper (they are cheap) Lets go racing! Dave your going down!! haha Rich Truchinski

We have raced 125 2 strokes a bunch of times at the vet races at glen helen in the 40 expert class.I can think of at least five or six of us that would be in.Sounds cool.Saddleback versus Indian Dunes? We're in.

I will be 40 this July (yaaaay), and do my best here in north Florida and southern Georgia tracks to represent the 125 on my 04yz125. haha!! I must say you do earn a bit of respect when you are riding well against the kids on the 250f bikes and do well. I get the most props from the older guys 38-48 which I am riding against their sons; and usually they rode a 125 (back in the day). I put a lot of concentration on my corner speed and I make up time from being over powered that way.

I would be in for a 125 2-stroke in Charlotte NC. Old school stuff not SX. Like the 450's but nothing beats a good sounding 125. Looking at riding my 06 yz 125 this weekend. been a long time. Been on a 450 for a while now.

You need to come to some of our races. We race vintage bikes from the 70's 80's & 90's all over the Southeast.

We have a class for modern bikes and we use current MX tracks with tamed down jumps. Check us out at www.sevintagemx.com

It is confirmed with Jack at CRC we will start at 9:am on May 31st!!! Can the Dunes guys outnumber the SAddleback and Carlsbad guys? Don't mess with the Wrecking crew!!

Berg was in BETTER shape thats for sure!!! A CMC guy took the first one who will take the next event? Those up and down hills at LACR where a BLAST! That was the most fun Ive had on a bike in a long time!!
