Cheers dude. I'm hoping it turns out to the image I've got in my head. Also there's your build as inspiration to how it should be done propley!

I like your choice of build! Making factory replica is just to expensive or impossible if you should do all the details. I also choose to build my 96 as a GP privateer bike with Öhlins suspension.

Will be nice to follow the project!

Love what you're doing with it, this is my kind of bike!

Enjoy the build and sourcing parts, getting parcel deliveries is nearly as much fun as building them / riding them.

Looking forward to seeing this progress.

Jealous, I saw a 95 at the track a while back and would have to be the exact opposite of your bike. No airbox just a pod filter, frame rails were flat and he wanted 2 grand for it. Im still patiently waiting for my mint condition barn find.

This build is simply unbelievable. White gloves build at it's finest. If you don't mind me asking, how did you fix the swingarm that well? Did you put welds on all the dents and sanded to flat surface afterwards?

Very nice! Did you get the frame powder coated or just find a no hours mint bike? I also have a 97 cr125, kinda doing the same thing as you really! I've got a lot more to do yet haha going to try to do a full restoration this winter! Where did you get the frame guards?
