I’m thinking about selling my 96 CR250. It’s in great condition. Suspension was redone, wheels rebuilt, and the whole bike was gone through about 2 years ago. I only rode it twice and it has been sitting looking pretty since. Photo below. I haven’t been buying bikes for a couple of years so I don’t know what the price should be. Any suggestions?

One million dollars, cause your not really gonna sell it. You just want us to look at it and that's OK

I just bought a new house and have some sort of mental disability where I am fixated on making it exactly how I want it which is putting a large hurt on my bank statement sooo... I really am thinking about selling it. Sad

Nice bike, is the Plano bike a replica or the real deal?

Thanks!

The graphics are replica but the bike is the real deal. There are a few parts they are wrong but it’s pretty close to 100%.

IF....IF it is a good resto, using OEM parts and the cylinder is in good condition, I'd say a fair price would be $4,500-5K for that bike. If it's a wrench rabbit/pivot works/LA sleeve restoration the price drops considerably. The two-stroke market is crazy high right now which means it's a good time to sell. A collector could pay even more for it, but I'd say a fair offer is $4.5-5k

I have some Plano gear. If you have any interest e Mail me at Tdelorenzo2@gmail.com. Thanks, Tony
I bought Billy Payne's yellow MSR pants/jersey from you a few years ago. It is on display next to the bike. You can see part of the jersey hung up in the photo. Do you have any more jerseys?

DynoDan, thanks for the input. I need to look at my old receipts to see if I had the motor rebuilt. I had a great mechanic jet the bike when he did the suspension work and he may have done a top end at the same time. I don't think we did the crank or anything else. I do know that this is the fastest 250 I've ever ridden. It is crazy fast.
