Are the forks on the 1995 CR250 anodized? If so I hate to scrub it off while cleaning. i cleaned the top only on the left one.

If I remember the coat was so thin that there was no way to preserve it long term, so almost anybody that sent their forks out for valve work would have them hard anodized. I remember the forks staining red from the clay content of the soil at our local mx track. So I doubt you could maintain the light anodozing anyway. But you could send them out and have the uppers anodized gold and the lowers anodized red or blue. I dunno if anybody does that anymore, but I always thought it looked trick haha.

^ How long have you had that for?

I had a 95 125 back in the day and I believe I managed to get the same bike again. Always remembered the forks as having a light gold tinge to them which is now completely gone.

That cool if you got your old bike back! I've had it for 3 or 4 years.
