Not an 89 but my 90. I always liked the stock look of these years. Looks like you have a good bike to start with!

I raced one of these back in the day....It reminded me of a big 125. It was the best handling production bike I have ever ridden. Ahhhh....fond memories

To this day, the 1990 RM's were some of the best looking MX bikes of all time. I love the "less is more" graphics from the bikes in this era.

I agree completely. All of the bikes from that era have such a cool look.

so got the bike finally stripped between work hours frame going to get powder coated candy purple to match graphics and purple on seat also head flywheel cover and water pump cover
Man, I love a nice restored stock look or modified with era correct parts. I'm really concerned how this bike is gonna turn out. I'll follow along though, for entertainment purposes.
relax guys was a mad thing someone put in my head its just going origanal will be getting frame back friday lol
