I bought a bike that was so called "ride/race ready" but you know how that goes. The clutch wont disengage all the way. I pull the lever in and put it in gear and it stalls. I adjusted it all the way out and in, new plates and fibers, 2 different levers, moved the actuating arm on the splines and none of makes a difference. My guess the little grooves in the basket is whats happening. I didn't think it was worn enough to matter. Any suggestions what else it may be?

I was told on here that the 1991 or 1992 covers will work better as the are made of aluminium and do not flex like the 89 and 90 magnesium cover does. I do know that the 93 cover does not work as the clutch pull rod is a smaller diameter.
