Hey guys looking for some help. I have an 89 rm125 and I need a cylinder. Are there any other years that can work or be made to work? The bike is complete and in good shape other than the cylinder is missing and fenders so I'd hate to scrap it if I can get it going. I have searched high and low and it's been discontinued. Thanks.

I think its gonna be tough pretty sure the exhaust port is diffrent on the 90s so you might have to find an 89

I just sold an 89 RM 125 and there are three or four different cylinders for that year. I believe it’s K, L and M and they’re all different. Pretty sure the power valves are the same but one has a fiber head gasket and the other two have packings. not sure what’s different between the L and M cylinders, but the key is the one with the fiber head gasket. I believe the power valves are interchangeable from 89 to 92 but I’d look the cylinders up if I were you on a microfiche.

Those are the different model years. Suzuki is a pain sometimes as they go by model year letter under the same part year. 89-k, 90-l, 91-m. Etc
