Would you say the power increase from BlackOps is more than say a PC pipe?
Ride your bike. Get it dialed. I'll send you my coil to try to see if it's worth the money to you. If you like it I'll get you the best price it can be gotten for. If not then you tried

Performance is mediocre... which is kinda what I remember the mags writing back in the day. Has a noticeable mid hit then flatlines on top.
This bike is completely stock except for a Boyesen RAD valve (oem manifold was cracked and couldn't find a NOS replacement). Still has the stock pipe and silencer.
I don't remember the main jet I installed; it's either 145 or 147.5. Pretty sure I went with stock pilot and clip in 3rd spot. Carb has a brand new $120 slide, float needle, screws and gaskets. Fuel bowl height is set to factory spec.
Will pull bowl this week to confirm main jet size, but it seems like the bog/loading issue is either clip or pilot maybe. Then again maybe my main is still off due to the smoke and spooge.

I might have some MXA on the bike, I will dig around.
I've never jetted any type of race gas though just the highest pump octane I can find around here (93) mixed at 32:1 w/ Castor 927.
Did the Boyesen RAD valve recommend what to do with the jetting?
Yeah, I posted it right above (in my quoted text above your reply).. they say to drop 1-3 sizes on the main and keep everything else standard spec (also above). I'm about to pull the main to see what I changed it to (didn't write it down).
Main: 150
Pilot: 52 (stock)
Clip: 3rd (stock)
Also noticed that the fuel in the bowl was very dark - it's been hanging out in the gas tank for about a month. Gonna dump what's left in the tank and race can and mix fresh at 32:1 before making any jetting changes.
Now as far as the bike blowing smoke at WOT, you might have a blown right side crank seal. I've seen them no seat properly, get cut when pressing crank through, or even a small piece of dirt tearing things up. Keep an eye on your trans fluid level, it will be a tell tale sign if your engine is sucking oil past the crank seal.
If it's running rough from 1/4 to 1/2, lower your needle, ala raise the clip to lean the mixture out.
