I can't say a single bad word about Eric Gorr. He did great for me and my 144 CR.

However I can't say enough good about Tom Morgan. There's more than just doing great motor work when sending your cylinder off to make it fast. He is someone I can recommend and I'm certain the not a single negative comment will come back to me. Go wirh Tom. And be sure to say Kevin and RCN praised his name

Personally, I’d replace wheel bearings, clutch plates, fork seals and shims, swing arm pivot bearings, steering head bearings, all engine seals and what bearings in the cases, or crank that don’t meet spec. Also, check your cylinder and if still in tolerance, ball hone and install a new piston, rings and connecting rod bearing, etc. I did my 81 YZ125, owned since 81, and the crank bearing and other bearings, with the exception of one, we’re all good. Been riding ever since.

And stay with the kx crank seals.
I bought the yz seals I was told fit the kx and they aren't close to fitting. I don't know where the mistake or misinformation lies, but the stock parts work fine

Well i got another one. This was just for the chassis and misc stuff. This is my 3rd kx125 to get a nice complete racer. This one is pretty good to start with. Got it from the 2nd owner, it runs damm good. Gonna rebuild the suspension and put some rubber on it and ride it while i finish putting the TMR motor back together. This is after a wash and new seat foam and cover.

I know I should have put them on when I posted but I wanted to at least hose off all the grease and crap. It's way ruff but runs and is mostly there. Some motor stuff..

That is not bad at all, Solid bike to start with and I think it will be a awesome bike when done. I think it looks worse than it is and parts are easy to find too. Keep posting pics as you progress on the project. Cool
