I have extra YZ100 's. I have a 1982/83 Yamaha YZ100 for sale. Also can build you one to spec. Ie; suspension disc brake ,drum brake. 36,38,43 millimeter forks. Plastic : original, aftermarket ,nos. Paul, I currently race an '83 but is in no way as trick as yours.
I have talked with Marty and hung out with a few of the MT team members at Diamond Dons and Rio Bravo.
Your bikes are a werk of art and blazingly fast. Is there a website with more information on these bikes you have for sale?

That's what I was thinking. There was a 1982 project bike near me recently but I didn't pull the trigger on it and now it's gone. There were a few missing parts like the airbox and a couple other things. Hows parts availability?

Still a good bit floating around especially here in Texas with so many guys like myself with multiple bikes and parts bikes.

Ebay is still a good source. Brad and Eric Harvey at Nor Cal Vintage Racing is a great source with lots of yz100 experience. Also Robert Fish up in Washington has a ton of Yamaha stuff and if he doesn't have it he can make. Paul Johnston still in Cali still builds a good many bikes and I'm sure has access to lots of parts. When you find one you have to move fast. Good luck!

Here's mine, built by Paul Johnstone (see reply above) and ridden by some guy named Jeff Stanton at the Daytona Vintage event. He'll be on it again this year, destroying much larger displacement bikes, lol!

ATKpilot99 Are you talking about the yz100 that was for sale in Kenosha Wisconsin on Craigslist last month listed incorrectly as a 1982 yz125. If so I picked that bike up. It needs a complete restoration and was missing the airbox like you mentioned.

i got a yellow 83yz100 with it175 motor in it fresh hone and piston to match prof rebuild paper work too.new stator throttle and clutch cable guy said he did bottom end too shifts fine.fork dont leek but probly needs seals? dont want to hurt old dog.i ride yz125.have 100 motor he said works too.bought from clist nice bike no drips in truck after pick up jtempel24@yahoo.com if anyone intrested
