Hi all I have a 1975 Kawasaki KD 125 that runs and drives fine but I am actually a Kawasaki triple guy and not real familiar with parts interchangeability between the KE / KD and the KX 125 ..
So my question is I am having some diffucultly sourcing info and I have a desire to make a clone KX 125 out of my KD 125 and Im wondering if the stoke is the same in both bikes, I was able to find out that the base gasket is the same so leads me to believe that a KX cylinder, head, pipe and some carb work would get me started ?
I was told that a different part number was used for the connecting rod but that doesn't surprise me due to the KX was most likely beefed up for racing ...
Any insight would be appreciated TIA
