Hi Old School moto heads thought you might be interested in my just finished build of my 1975 Catalogue Perfect Factory PK XR 75, the full story has just come out in the latest issues of VMX # 66 last week.
I was sponsored by PK when I was kid here in Australia, but there was only 2 frames that came into the country, one for the Importer Son and One for Distributor Son .
I have many photos on my Face Book Page under Albums if you want to look , the build and more.
I hope you enjoy and bring back memories of Bobby Moore.
Regards Rosco Holden Melbourne Australia.
PS I have shown Ted Boyko who worked for PK and the BBR brothers loved it to.

I found this one of Bobby Jones in the pictures you posted. That's him at the local track I mentioned in above post. Valley Cycle Park in Moorpark, CA.
It's amazing how much power could be got from those motors. The xr I raced was stock. But in 76 after I moved up to a 76 YZ80 which was mind blowing faster than the xr, I got a chance to ride another kids xr that had everything done to the motor including a JWRP 5 speed trans. That xr was still faster than the YZ80.
The 1970s were really a great time do race MX.
I have a photo of me on the Yam YZ 80 C at Wallan for some reason all day today, some pics I could post some I cant, probably only goy half of the PK photo shoot that went through.

Cheers Rosco
I restored a 79 model XR 80 "Elsinore" style. I'll see if I can post a pic of it later today.
Excellent work man, that bike is really nice.
A friend and I have a pair of them slowly in the works. They'll be done up a little differently but going with the same paint scheme on the tanks. What color code did you use for the dark blue if you don't mind me asking?
P.S and thank you for your help and pictures re ignition very much appreciated .
Stay Safe Rosco not hard to find.
Thank you for your efforts.
Stay safe.
