I rode one of those when I did a N.Y.P.U.M. group for the YMCA back in '74.

On E-Bay one in this condition just sold for $899.00. I have also seen them sell for $1,200 so I would guess this is where yours would be at... $900.00 to $1,200.00. Those prices are with a title by the way.

No clue on the oil...

That is what i was thinking also. It's a cool little bike that the wife would ride around our woods when we were on the track. She has upgraded to a Polaris Ranger.

That's mint, I had a red CT70 in 1970. There wasn't much left of it that was in good shape after a year of riding and almost no maintenance. I hope you get a bunch for yours. Where's it been all these years, in a crate?

I had a collector look at it and he suggested i take no less than 1500.00 for it and that includes the original cardboard qt. of oil. I was just wondering what it would bring if i were to sell it.

That is my very first bike. Even the burnt orange color.

Hold out for 2 grand.

I spent 2 grand on my last one. It was entirely original with 313 miles, candy red, three speed.

1500 is attainable if you find the perfect buyer. There are quite a few CT70's out there still, the guys in my local vintage club use them as pit bikes.

One question... is the seat pan still perfect, or did it crack where you lift it like many of them have a habit of doing? Just curious.

That's sweet. I have a 71 "H" model I still ride regularly. Not nearly as clean as that one, but a lot of fun.

I've seen them go for $ 4000.00. I met a guy that paid 3000.00 for one with 300 miles on it.
