1964 Vantech Scrambler 80

I've been enamoured with this machine for years. Probably because the fact it's powered by a glorified Mcculloch chainsaw engine. It's simplicity and archaic design just draws me in. Only a few were made and apparently Joey Petz was untouchable in the races they ran it in. Anyway, I came across a proper mcculloch engine a few weeks ago, so I'm seriously thinking about building a semi recreation of this machine. An homage, if you will.

That is extremely unusual. The rear sprocket is just something else!

That is an oddball. I can't get a good feel for the scale of it. Pretty neat though.

These should give you a better idea on size.



Similar chassis, but with a hodaka 100 engine.
