The Palmer you talk of was Jamie Palmer and yup, he was quick and a nice guy. The other guy you talk of, Cliff keveryga, rode the intermediate class at washougal huh ? Well Clifford was cherry pickin' out of the pro class down at washougal just so you know. Nice enough guy, but his pro days ended quickly.

Does anybody remember Steve Wise?
This Steve Wise? Honored at the Freestone Texas national this year as part of the Legends and Heroes deal. He took a lap around the track on my Mugen kitted Wise replica CR125. Pretty cool. He lives near San Antonio now. He used to go fast on an early 100cc Penton.

I've posted this elsewhere here before, just not in this topic. One of my JWRP Mini Elsinores restored for my kid to ride. He was almost too big by the time I got around to getting it done but still fits on it without looking too goofy. This bike is too fast or I'm just too big. Scary little thing, I applaud any of you who ever went fast on these little mutants way back when. Especially those of you with the .080 over 134cc cheater cylinders!

Maybe it's time Mini Elsinore posts up a couple pics of his trick setup? Ever get around to restoring it?

You looking for a sleeve kit to do yourself or a cylinder that's already been sleeved? Stock style 100cc setup or a reed valved, boost ported 100cc cylinder? I have a couple spare NOS FMF 100cc boost ported cylinders with porky and radial heads but I'm keeping them for myself(mostly because I'm too embarrassed to tell how much I spent on some of them!). I just sold off a couple sleeved cylinders and a couple NOS sleeve kits over the last year or so. I can probably help you find something, just let me know.

I have a motor ready to be put together with a new Crank bearings & fresh sleeved 125 cylinder. I wish now I had sleeved it with the 100cc sleeve. We have a new 100 class that I would like to build a bike to run in. I dont need a reed cylinder, but i would like to find a cylinder ready to bolt on to my fresh bottom end and jet to Mikuni carb.

trant- I thought a shot from Barona Oaks would help to bring back good memories for you and anyone who was there. JWRP bikes are showing up in my files...throw some bike numbers my way.

ive got a bunch of old b & w's from different places that surely must be yours...barona oaks...that looks like the weekend where i kicked scotty burnworths ass so bad he was criying in the pits cause i passed him before the finish in the 100cc race...i raced exclusively with 13X until i got on the full sized 100 and 125 when i had 6X courtesy of cmc...my last bit of racing on a 125 suzuki was with nr. 27...if you can come up with some shots we gotta figure out a way for me to pay you and get them over here...im assuming you still use dollars over there and that you WOULD like some of them for your work...unless you are a gentleman of outstanding character with my best interests at heart??

There was only one way to cool off while at Barona and that was to take a body dip in the water truck. Why even Dan Trant's dad took a dip. Hey there's Dan Trant and his #13x bike right in front of the truck.

newmann- That is something that you noticed the duct tape covering the Yamaha logos on the #3x bike. Yes that is Jeff Ward.

BKJ 13- Thank you my friend! I always try to find the right picture for the right topic. Oh yes, OCIR was my track, and I was there from the start to the finish in 1985.

trant- I'm glad that I focused in on you. I have your numbers and will email you about getting prints. Hey I talked to Scott Burnworth in July at Perris Raceway. He is doing some vintage racing with the CALVMX and raced an OSSA....fast!

My pictures...thousands more on the way...you haven't seen anything yet!!!

This is cool seeing so many names from the past, Scooter Staford, Ben Theriot, Derrick Wedding, Glen Urquhart . I finished 3rd in the GNC final 1978, Astrodome, Open Amature, and If I can remember correct Derrick Wedding finished 1st. Also Glen Urquhart, I think I remember meeting you in Monroe LA. 1976 Indoor State championships (Monroe Civic Center). Did you have white riding gear or had a white bike or something like that. I saw that Urquhart mentioned Humble Yamaha, If I remember the guy who beat me in the Civic Center (250 am.) was Don Parker? who maybe rode for Humble Yamaha? I went to REO BRAVO one time 76', I was winning a lot in Louisuana, but ate a lot of dust that day, Texas boys were fast. I think I'm a little older than most of these names (51 now), but it's cool to hear them again. If any one out there is interested in 100's you can really have a lot of fun racing them again in AHRMA events. I've been racing all over the country this past year with my wife and daughter (who races the women), and man what fun. AHRMA started a 100 class the last year or 2 and those guys are having probably the most fun of all.

I had white gear and white YZ's. I still have the original white "leathers".
