Got a new 2019 EXC 500.I need a skidplate for it and theres about 100 choices it seems. Any recommendations ? Pro's and Con's of particular brands ? Any input appreciated Thanks !

I don't have an exc but I've had good luck on my xcf's with the enduro engineering aluminum ones. Super sturdy and has some protection up the sides.

I prefer plastic skid plates. I bought an AXP skid plate for my 19 300xc and it's been great. Before that I was using Acerbis but AXP is about twice as thick (as twice as expensive)

Check out www.sxslideplate.com they may not have what you need right now, but might have something in the works. I use both their hand guards and skid plates on both my bikes and really like how durable they are.
