So very excited for the 2019 season they just announced. Definitely going to chase the six round series

From Facebook:
"Johnson Valley, Red Mountain, 29 palms, Glen Helen and Anza are the tentative locations" Photo
"AMA District 37 Tentative 6 race series. Some races in the desert, some on private land, one on land never ridden or raced on. 5 to 12 mile loops done multiple times. You race the clock. Riders start every 15 seconds. They will pay desert points but more importantly pay enduro points so plan to race a 6 race series and earn a plate. It's gonna be awesome!!"

I assume it'll 200-250cc B? I want to say that the displacement breakdown. I made the mistake of winning Revo C class last year which bumped me to B in all AMA offroad events

I read somewhere that they were going with the standard D37 classes but adding a pro class. If I get my 125 running, I will run 200A. If I don't, I will ride my 250 in SR LWT A. Regardless, these should be fun. I did the Sprint Hero at Glen Helen and it is an awesome format.

Oh man BAMX, how was it? My cousin raced it and it looked like a blast watching his GoPros. I heard that Sprint Hero is the Worcs guys. Looked pretty well organized.

It was the WORCS guys and it was really well run. The only bummer was a low rider turnout. That meant the schedule ran really fast and there was very little rest time between tests. Essentially, you run the first test lined up by class and then go for a rest until the last rider finishes the test. Then, they give a 5 minute call and everyone lines up as to how they finished the last test. With a low turnout, I would get in have a drink and then hear the call. For the loops, we ran an offroad loop 3 times and then ran a moto loop 3 times for six tests/motos. That was plenty as I was worked. Both test were pretty fun. There was a little of everything on the offroad loop. The moto loop was the main and REM tracks put together with a section that ran up that canyon a bit, added in. Both of us loved the format. We were planning on making one of the other races but the distance got in the way. Driving 5 plus hours was just too much.

Yeah it'll be under the District 37 umbrella just like Big 6. I often forget how amazing our district is until you start looking at the others around.

Hopefully, it will become the technical riding version of the Big6 series.
