i think off road is more about 150'/250 smoker and 300 these day, maybe with a bit of 250/350XCF/FX

but its a good idea

I believe towards the end of last year Kris Keefer was on PulpMX mentioning a potential offroad shootout of sorts. Not sure if/when it will happen but he does have a podcast talking about the Yamaha offroad line (Keefer Tested Podcast Episode 79) for anyone interested.

You could probably shoot him an email and he would get back to you with any information he has about a potential offroad shootout in the works.

Bring the off road shoot out up to Idaho this summer on some real trails. A Beta 200 will win the shoot out.

Offroad is so broad...You talking desert? Single Track? Hard Enduro? GNCC?

A 450 is the only way to go for true desert...but wouldn't work in Hard Enduro. A 200 two stroke is perfect for some techy single track...but wouldn't get the job done in the Desert.
