2019 husqvana fc250 for woods racing?

I had an '18 250SXF with a 270 kit on it I used for enduro's. It was an ok bike, SX 5spd sucked on transfer sections, I think they made some changes to the 19 engine but nothing drastic. Mine lacked bottom end, even with the 270 kit. Bike wanted to be ridden like a 125. I spent a war pension on it and lost my ass selling it but I was glad to see it go. Resale on a 250F mx bike is terrible also keep that in mind, a used xcf KTM will be way easier to sell than an mx bike when you're done with it. If you're dead set on that bike I'd check FB and craigslist and find a nice low hr used one and save a couple thousand. Even if its an 18 model the price will be way cheaper.

I've got a 19 300XC, I swapped out the mikuni for a 38mm keihin and had .025'' shaved off the head to bump up compression a little. Bike runs great now.

Yes its a good bike for woods. Will need some stuff specific for off-road and might not be able to have some of the attachments you might want later but its a great bike and good platform for any racing outside of wide open desert stuff.
