I'm looking for a program i can play 2 videos side by side . I need to document some long distance archery shooting this summer . I have a camera that mounts on the bow and my plan was to use a gopro up close to the target . I would want to show the arrow in flight from the bow camera and then the other camera would show the point of impact on the target . Anyone have any suggestions ?

Look up Avid Media Composer First. It's free and has some decent features. You can just layer the video tracks and use the split screen effect.

DaVinci Resolve is free as well and effective for what you're looking for.
